Radhe Krishna!!! This is an attempt to create a portal of information on Bhajans and Nama sankeerthanam together with an aim to promote the ancient bhajana sampradaya that is slowly dwindling in the wake of modernisation and western influences. Whilst this clearly is not the very first time that this has been attempted, I staunchly believe that my humble effort would evolve and hopefully be preserved and prove useful in the world of internet for the young ones to learn and keep up our tradition. In order to preserve the sacred and divine tradition of the Bhajan Sampradayam and the path prescribed for the Kaliyuga – Hari Namasankeerthanam, this portal is dedicated to the Lotus feet of the Mahatmas and the Great Bhagavathars of our tradition and is mainly intended for the young and spiritual aspirants who would like to have the Satsangha anubhavams and wish to add to the quality of this purport. Disclaimer : This blog has been compiled from various sources and a certain degree of coincidence is likely to occur in my presentation in the choice of words and phrases, which is not intentional. Significance of Gita in Pandaripuram

It is said that warakaris (pilgrims) inside the Pandaripur temple perform 700 sashtanga Namaskars starting from dawn until night. These namaskarams correspond to the 700 slokas in the Bhagavad Gita. Such is the significance of this divine ritual.
